Chip Ganassi Racing’s Jimmie Johnson in the No.48 Carvana Honda says that the team had a pretty decent qualifying going but that they weren’t able to maximize the potential from the car on Saturday at Road America.

In the race on Sunday, the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion said that the team was forced to go off strategy after being checked up by a competitor which put the No.48 team on the back foot for the rest of the race.

The Californian started Sunday’s Sonsio Grand Prix of Road America from 26th and came home in 24th place, speaking following the action he said that while it was great to finish the 55-lap race that overall he is disappointed that they have nothing to show for it.
