Piers Phillips, CEO, PREMA Racing INDYCAR says that the team have some understanding of what to expect from this weekend’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
The team made their INDYCAR debut on the streets of St Petersburg last month.
Speaking ahead of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, Phillips says:
As we head into the third round of the season, we are continuing to get to grips with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. But with previous experience on a street circuit in these cars, we have some understanding of what to expect ahead of the weekend. The opening few rounds have been a learning process, but we are ready to continue moving forwards with what we have taken from the opening events.”
Callum Ilott has two previous starts at Long Beach while it will be Robert Shwartzman’s first visit to the legendary street circuit.
