Cusick Motorsports owner Don Cusick says that the team has 500 miles to prove that their car has better pace than where Stefan Wilson qualified for next Sunday’s 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
The Sheffield native, driver of the No.24 CareKeepers Chevrolet, starts ‘The Greatest Spectacle In Racing from 25th place following a four lap average speed of 231.648MPH.
Speaking following the action, Don Cusick commented saying:
Gave it our 3 best efforts but disappointed at the result. Solidly in the show but our car is much better than inside 9th row and we have 500 miles to prove that next Sunday the 28th.
