Arrow McLaren Team Principal Gavin Ward says Tuesday’s final day of testing at Sebring International Raceway was great. Pato O’Ward ended the day in third place with a time of 00:52.0104s, completing 66 laps speaking following the action, Ward said:
“Today was a great day, and it was a great two days for the team as we get ready to go to St. Pete. We got through the entire program we wanted to, and we kind of did our own thing out there. We did some long-run work and got through a lot of development items. I really think we learned a lot today. I saw other teams throw on new tires at the end of the day, but I think we played it right to get through our plan. I’m pretty excited and confident rolling into St. Pete with this group.”
Pato O’Ward commented on the day saying:
“Back with the No. 5 team today. It was a really smooth testing day for us today. We got through our whole run plan, and now we’re ready to get the season kicked off in St. Pete. We’re really looking forward to getting down there.”
