The Formula 2 celebrated their 200th race in Bahrain on Sunday in Bahrain with some history.
For the first time ever, an Irish driver took victory with Rodin Motorsports Alex Dunne taking victory, his first in the championship.
The McLaren Racing backed driver who serves as reserve driver for the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team started the race from fourth and came through to claim a fantastic victory at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain.
Speaking following the action, Dunne said:
Super happy with the win. I think the team did a mega job and the car was in the exact sweet spot. So, I am super, super happy and looking forward to Jeddah next week.
