The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will roar to life on Thursday with the sound of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. As preparations begin for the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500, presented by Gainbridge, several teams will be in action. Arrow McLaren’s Nolan Siegel, who failed to qualify for this year’s race, will be in action this morning from 9 AM as he aims to complete his Rookie Orientation Program.
Testing will continue from 1 to 5 p.m., with Marcus Ericsson in action for Andretti Global. Defending Indianapolis 500 winner Josef Newgarden will be in action for Team Penske, while Pato O’Ward and defending series champion Alex Palou will also be on track today.
Regarding Friday’s action, Santino Ferrucci will be in action for AJ Foyt Racing. Christian Lundgaard will debut for Arrow McLaren, while Ryan Hunter Reay returns to the cockpit for Dreyer and Reinbold Racing. Conor Daly is on track for Juncos Hollinger Racing while Helio Castroneves will be in action for Meyer Shank Racing.
Graham Rahal and Josef Newgarden will be on track on Friday while Alexander Rossi is in action for Ed Carpenter Racing. Palou is also on track on Friday.
